Unique Selling Proposition Example [USP] – Affiliate Marketing

October 3, 2019

A lot of business owners and affiliate marketers
fail because they forget a crucial step. It is differentiating your product from others. It’s also called USP or unique selling proposition. In today’s video, you’ll learn what it is
and I’ll also give you an example related to affiliate marketing. You need to think about what makes you different
and why people should buy from you instead of your competitors. You probably have many competitors selling
the same stuff, so it’s important to stand out from the crowd. What’s more, if you are in affiliate marketing
promoting a product, there are thousands of other people promoting the same. Try to add some uniqueness no one else is
offering and answer these questions: How is my product different from the alternatives
out there? Why would my customer buy this product? Why is it better? If you can’t find anything unique, add an
extra feature or a bonus. If you sell digital products, you might
want to add extra education, some related bonus products, community access, or one to one support to your offer. Sit down and do some brainstorming because
coming up with something special is often difficult. Obviously, you should be aware of your customer’s
pain points and the problems your product solves. Fortunately, analyzing your competitors is
a powerful way to get some good ideas. Go ahead and check what they are doing well
and wrong so that you can learn from these and take it to the next level. When presenting your product, you want people
to notice this extra value immediately. To show you a real-life example, you can see
how I differentiate myself from my competitors by coming up with my unique selling proposition. As you might already know, I’m using and promoting
Builderall which is an all-in-one online marketing and business automation platform but at the
same time, thousands of other people are doing the same. So I added a lot of bonuses that people get
when they sign up for Builderall through my link including regular, one-on-one support,
graphic design tools, covers, templates, affiliate action plan handbook, done-for-you emails,
guides, books, etc. When people join, I always make sure they
get everything they need to succeed. I know if they become successful, I will, too. So that is how I differentiate myself. And what about you? What is your unique selling proposition? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. I hope you learned now how to create your USP. If you enjoyed this video, make sure to give
